Check out this article. Greenville apparently has made it to the short list with about three other cities, for a 1,000 employee fire truck manufacturing plant.

Wow! That plant has been a fixture in Slowcala ever since I can remember. I'd be very surprised to see E-One actually pick any of these other cities over Ocala.

Didn't La France used to make Fire Trucks at the facility in Charleston that will now make the Dodge Sprinter Vans?

Yes, I do have some news. Greenville is not in the running any more - information is first hand. I suspect that they are trying to get incentives out of the state of Florida.

It would have been a great to get them here - they would have been the third largest manufacturing employer in the Upstate.

Yup, they're just playing the City of Ocala and Marion County by "exploring all options."
