Greensboro to Get North Carolina's First Omnisphere Theater

an Omnisphere Theater is like an IMAX theater except the Omnisphere Theater provides a 360-degree visual. The Omnisphere Theater will be located at the Natural Science Center in Greensboro. The developer of Triad Tower in Greensboro is also seeking to put an IMAX theater in that tower.

an Ominsphere Theater is similar to an IMAX theater except its 360 degrees rather than a big flat or curved screen. Greensboro's Natural Science Center will have the first Omnisphere in North Carolina. Charlotte has something similar called the OmniMax located in the Discovery Place.

Then there is still the possibilty Greensboro could get an IMAX theater downtown should the mystery downtown project materilaizes.
