Greensboro's Glenwood neighborhood

Based upon it's proximity to downtown do you guys think it will become a desirable neighborhood in the near future? There are so many great houses in the area but I wonder what the few months/years will bring. Any thoughts?

I think you may end up seeing the neighborhood come together like Fisher Park and Aycock to put together a redevelopment plan. The neighborhood is nestled between the coliseum and downtown. Whats so unique about this neighborhood is that it is not segragated. most neighborhoods in Greensboeo are either mostly white or mostly minority. Glenwood has a good mix of people of alot of races and people from all walks of life, sort of like Southside. There is great poetential for this neighborhood.

So many houses in Glenwood are rentals, tenant transients and slumlords prevent the neighborhood from becoming cohesive. It only when homeowners outnumber tenants that you will see a neighborhood rebound.
