Very nice GRdad. It looks like we GR planeteers have some Grand Visions. If the real GR turns out to be atleast half as great as we would like this would be the best city on Earth. Speaking of which, here and now is a perfect place and opportunity to unleash my latest and most complicated sketchup file I've done up to this point. I call it "Spirit of the Grand", a renovation of the Calder Plaza area consisting of a new PAC, a new plaza that upholds the artistic value of Calder's famous stabile and more weloming to the masses, and the main feature, a new glass cube City and County Administration Building.

Enjoy...

Being that the RAPID would like to install a BRT line on Division Ave. within ten years, I decided to put Sketchup Version 6's Photomatching feature to a good test in visualizing what the idea may look like in real life. The center 18 ft section of the road would be replaced by two fixed BRT guidways each with grass insets between two concrete tracks. On each side of the the BRT line would be an automotive traffic lane with a bike lane acting as a buffer from sidewalks.

Edit: I swaped out the previous version of this image for this one which is way beter than before. Thanks GRdad for the suggestions in the Transit Initiative sticky.
