Big E considering reopening closed rooms as second hotel

"The hotel will continue all operations as a 353-room full-service hotel, convention center and entertainment venue."

So are the 246 rooms currently closed and not counted toward the 353 count, or are they planning to close these in the future and spin it off as a second hotel? I knew the complex was huge but...
