I hope so, that would be nice to see.. and I think the NFC West is definitely a winnable division for any of the teams. Though my teams are the Panthers first.. and the Steeler's second... I like to pull for the underdog franchise at times. Plus a guy from my high school plays for them.. and of course I like to see a hometown boy do well.

As much as I like seeing new teams enter.....I think the NFL, NBA, MLB, and the NHL are stretched to it's limit! I do not want to see the leagues get too watered down in talent.

My hometown of Baton Rouge just got a semi-pro soccer team called the Capitals. Hopefully it will catch on???

not exactly a major sport, but i was reading an article somewhere yesterday, that the WNBA is looking to expand by 2-3 teams within the next 5 years.

You have to enjoy womens basketball. It is completely different, it reminds me more of a DII or DIII type game. It is team based, no flashy plays, layups passing and threes. I think if they play in smaller arenas and fill them up it will be fun and good for kids. It is a great place to take kids, the tickets will be cheaper and they still get a decent experience as a kid.

It would be better in a smaller arena, but I don't think the league would do that because it would be admitting it wasn't major league. Also, some of the largest market teams can almost fill the big arenas. The smaller markets really strugle though. The energy level would be better in a college arena of 5,000 to 7,000 though. Maybe curtain off the upper decks in the big arenas and just sell tickets for the lower bowl. That's an idea.

There are currently 13 teams in MLS, the first new team look like San Jose or Las Vegas. Then it could go to a lot of places, mostly the north with Cleveland, Philly, Portland, Seattle, Milwaukee, Detroit, Vancouver, Montreal another New York or Chicago team. I also heard Atlanta and New Orleans. I think they need atleast 2 southern cities should be added including Florida. MLS can probably expand another 4 or 5 teams, hopefully 5 so they can have 9 and 9 conferences.
