Post your favorite old pics of you city, or any other.

My favorite is one from, i beleive, sometime in the early 40's. It shows the newly constructed Davison Freeway in Detroit. It was the first freeway of its kind, being that it is depressed below grade. I love how the houses line it, and i love the light posts. I dont think you can find any lights like that on a freeway now-a-days.

Its interesting that the old interstate was a bit more accomodating of pedestrians

I thought this one was a cool old one of Richmond, I think it's from the 1940's.

Thanks, dgreco....I love looking at old pictures of towns I've been to to see what they were like back in the day, especially towns that have a lot of vacancy and abandonment now.
