State of City address to detail plan to merge Impression 5, library

I won't believe it until I see it, but it appears that the conceptual idea for a downtown preforming arts center is still on Bernero's mind, and that's good since he made that a major part of his campaign. Also, the idea to merge the downtown library with our children's museum is GREAT, and it looks like both parties are more than eager to see how to get this done.

Did anybody watch the SOC? I thought it was pretty good, a little bit of hardball to start out and then nothing but good news and optimism, exactly what a city of pessimists need!

I was so mad I missed it. I also missed council TV which I try to watch every week. And, I was really wanting to see this one.

One thing I haven't heard, though, even from those that listened to it is this huge project Bob Tresize, the city's economic developer director, has alluded to to me and Hood that is supposed to be announced in February.
