Nightclubs

I'm trying to take some friends out next weekend who are visiting Detroit from Orlando, and I just want recomendations on nightclubs. I've been to Downtown many times, but never been inside an actual night club. I know many pubs and bars that we have, but that's kinda boring for someone who comes from a party town.

I think I always hear that Clutch Cargo (the old church-turned-night club) has the best techno offering in the area. But it is out in Pontiac.
