My favorite places in Chicago are:

Lincoln Av, anywhere between Diversey and Lawrence

Andersonville

53rd St in Hyde Park (and the U of C campus)

Albany Park

Myopic bookstore in Wicker Park

Pilsen, esp. the Jumping Bean

that statue on top of the hill in Lincoln Park just north of the zoo

the platform at the Roosevelt stop (Orange and Green lines)

You brought me back, my father went to u of c law school, and I spent the first couple years of my life living in an apartment there. I still remember the quadrangle and the ice cream shop on campus.

I think I know the ice cream place you're talking about, although it's an Einstein Bros. now. They still do $1 milkshake Wednesdays, though.

Millenium Park, hands down

Yeah, we call it the botany pond, and I think it's probably there to stay. It's funny the things you remember from childhood.
