I don't know if I'd go as far as to say they look like SF rowhouses, rather I think they look like a lot of the things you'll find in lower South Carolina and coastal Georgia.

Some things this development does well:

Porches on the fronts of the houses that are large enough that they can be USED comfortably (I'm sick of purely ornamental porches)

Fairly small lot sizes and reasonable building setbacks for what I'm imagining is a small town or rural area.

Low prices for new construction

Some things it doesn't do well

Front-facing garage doors?!?!

I'm not a fan of the building facade materials and colors. Blah.

It's not perfect, but I've seen worse single-use PUDs.
