T-Line to get 2 new buses

The Texarkana Urban Transit District gave final approval for the purchase of 2 new buses for T-Line, the public transportation system. The 2 buses would cost nearly $324,000. Enough money may be left over to buy even more buses in the future. The decision to purchase the extra buses was approved unanimously with no opposition or debate. I'm glad they agreed to this. Now they need to expand the routes considering all the growth the city has recently experienced. Especially along Richmond and Hwy 59 South.

They are still small buses right now but there has been talk for a while of bringing in bigger buses. Oh they def have service on Richmond but it needs to be expanded down to Moores Lane. With all the growth along Hwy 59 that route needs to be expanded at least down to Kings Hwy.
