Very interesting building.

A lot of our local buildings seem to be taking on this sort of style. I don't mind it. It all seems to have some Marlon Blackwell influences.

It definitely fits well with the Town Center.

I agree. Since Blackwell is our best architect in the area now, I wouldn't mind seeing his style used a bit more in the area.

This is an odd thought, but that building would look even cooler if there were some green things growing down the side of it facing the Town Center. With the whole Gardens theme, it would fit right in.

Interesting idea. But I think I might prefer some trellises near the building for something like that.

All it would take is one trip to Artist's Point under the cover of darkness and we could have kudzu growing over every building in town.

Then it wouldn't matter what our design standards are.

Something a little more welcoming than kudzu might fit in better such as the vertical gardens of Patrick Blanc. The idea of a "green" wall is great for the downtown area.

There was an article in today's Northwest Arkansas Times about this development with a picture of the current progress and then of the rendering. It's nice to see another development outside of the Lofts at Underwood Plaza going forward. Looked like there was a bit of steel up, I'm going to have to stop by there and see for myself what the site is looking like. I don't think I've heard any date on the completion yet.
