Here is a building that we just finished rehabbing. It is the former City Of Grand Rapids Fire Station #12 built in 1913. It was decommissioned by the City in 1979 and purchased by the Hispanic Center of Western Michigan in 1986. Last year they went through a capital campaign to raise the money to do a LEED certified rehab of the project. We are anticipating LEED-NC Gold on this project.

Oooh, I like that one.

I have an interesting one to show, but I need to dig up some pictures of it. The rooftop holds water for the fire trucks, and it also doubles as a swimming pool.

Very cool Einstain. Are there solar panels designed into that roof? If not, it looks like a great building to integrate them in.

Fire station on W. Trade st in Charlotte's 4th Ward.

I took this angle because between the station and that 8 story condo building will be a 51 story condo tower going up. Will be quite the contrast.
