Interesting. I'm half Filipino (and half German).

I'm guessing the photos on the bay were taken in Manila (isn't Kuala Lumpur landlocked?). The Buddhist temple is interesting; the Philippines is 83% Catholic (then Muslim, then Buddhist).

Are you sure that last photo on your first post is in Asia? The vegetation and buildings look very European. If it is in Asia, then it's most likely in the Philiippines, because the Philippines was a Spanish and American colony.

Wow, great collection of vintage photos. The one with the guy and the alligator (crocodile?) is crazy. I always find it interesting to see how American pop-culture has seaped into other culture, as evident with the Godfather poster early on. Thanks for posting those.
