I heard that they bought land in Port Allen for a movie studio. Is that also true?

River Studios and FilmPort is a nearly 1 million-square-foot, $500 million studio complex planned for the Allendale Plantation in West Baton Rouge Parish. Developers Ed Elbert and Jonathan Sanger say it will feature eight soundstages and include back-lot areas capitalizing on river and water features for filming, along with a water tank with large-wave capability.
