It was a good year for Kzoo, +10 overall on the retail front, including the new Rave movie theater, I hope DT Kzoo can build on this for 2007.

The retail factor is an important one. I'm glad to see that they have a net growth in that sector - slowly returning the Kalamazoo Mall to its glory days.

Btw... has that sushi restaurant opened yet? Has anyone been there?

For a college town I was amazed that for the longest time that Kalamazoo didn't have one.

Yeah the place is Sushiya and its in the newly renovated United building across Kalamazoo Ave from Shakespeares. Ive already blown a good $60 or so on a few meals. Its delicous....I wish I could eat 5 lbs of salmon sushima everyday - also the blackjack rolls.
