We need a real deal Hyatt instead of their limited service product Hyatt Place, Hyatt Suites etc.

It’s going to be full service no matter what

worth noting. Legacy Union is about the height that Ally Center will be right now. Unless Ally Center has grown, which is possible, not sure, hasn't been approved yet. In this shot just pretend Tryon Place is the size of Legacy Union current. The hotel will be viewable from this angle too. I'll photoshop it shortly.

^Stonewall still amazes me...I wish 1st ward could get an ounce of this construction.  If Duke does build on that parking lot they bought, the intersection at Stonewall & Tryon will be something to behold!

Its not "if" its "when" and "what" lol.

Now everyone go retweet my pic on twitter (@claydoughcooks)

Do you guys know if the Tyron place Hotell will be built at the same or nearly same time as the office Component?

It hasn't yet been submitted, so no, it'll definitely lag behind a bit. That said it'll be 100' shorter, so maybe it'll be built faster.

Any chance that they could add extra floors??  That is the question!

Theres evidence they did on Accela but yea, the building still hasn’t been approved so we just won’t know til it gets approved.

Good news according to JLL's own website this new tower is 85% leased  which is spectacular given its delivery date.  http://www.jllproperty.us/en-us/charlotte/office-property-for-lease/ally-charlotte-center/604218

They also list it at 810k... which is VERY interesting. Building was submitted as 632k of office but has yet to be approved at that size, and they just now submitted some revisions.

^^^You are right on their own Tryon Place website it is listed as 742,000 sq ft. vs what their leasing agent JLL is marketing 810,000 the difference is 2 full floors.  So maybe 28 stories now vs 26
