It's going to look amazing and already does. Check out these ClearSky images from September 2003 and March 2007. Look how far that side of Uptown has come since those days.

Can't tell for certain but its 2 floors tall, so yes probably topped out.

Looking at the renderings, yes that appears to be the height of the hat.

They were installing some windows in the background of my picture, also the guys on the new crane just standing around waiting for the next piece. These were taking earlier this morning.

3 cranes on this block the JW Marriott crane and that contractor is DPR evidently and the 2 for Ally Center at TP.  walk bys today.

^Looking at this picture, this thing is clearly not topped out which confuses me because it’s supposed to be 25/26 floors (no 13th) so maybe someone else can explain or count better than me.

^That's going to be another great intersection (College & Stonewall).  Once the JW is complete and DEC2...I really think the Westin needs to consider re-configuring their entrance to the SoCo bar during their reno.  An entrance at the corner of the intersection would engage the sidewalk a lot better & be more welcoming.  This JW is my favorite aspect of the Stonewall corridor so far.  The first JW in the Carolina's and a MUCH needed full service 5 star option Uptown to compete with Ritz.

I think there is one actual office floor still left possibly.  I count 25 floors no mater which way I count so that means 26 total which is the plan.  Remove 13 that gets to 27 floors which is also the published number.

Still not sure what I’m missing. Look at the rendering. I count 25 floors. Which is where they are now. Yet, it appears they are adding an entire new floor. Last week I assumed that was the hat bracketing based on the rendering. Maybe @ricky_davis_fan_21 can explain?

^^^ Welcome all these new posters we need some new blood on the site no offense to the old blood LOL.  Great to see people excited like I am.  I love driving around and seeing construction sites as some of you know.   Fueled by QT gas and Krispy Kreme doughnuts and when I write in blue I may be exaggerating a bit maybe not.
