If I remember correctly, it was because you were suggesting it go to silly places like B-Tower, or spots that would never meet Apple's brand requirements. It was "it won't work THERE" not it won't work in Uptown or South End. Apple has been linked to Ally and Legacy Union over the past 2 years.

It seems like rather than opening it in phases, like "office delivering fall 2020, hotel delivering winter 2021, and retail delivering spring 2021," they're just waiting until everything is completely finished before opening any of it.

Nope they are gonna leave it like that. It’s an accent piece.
They are gonna leave the 2x4 temporary railing you can see also as an accent to the accent window.
