Triangle's fuel choices

Here's an interesting story from the N&O about fuel choices in the Triangle. Bush wants a 20% cut in gas use, but that's no simple task in these parts

It says the state could be a leader in the next generation of biofuels, noting the wide variety of plants that grow in the Tar Heel State. I'd always imagined the big corn-growing states, largely in the midwest, would lead the biofuel revolution, if there ever is to be such a thing.
