nice pics..I have to be honest though, i've never cared much for St. Pete, its always been SO boring when I've visited (though the Dali museum is certainly a highlight).

Sarasota is my fav gulf coast city...Naples and Ft Myers aren't bad either.

Other than the Sunken Gardens, I don't remember a whole lot about St. Pete, other than that the part by the water is pretty nice, while the interior seemed as bland as cardboard, as is sometimes the case with waterfront cities.

Of course, a lot could've changed in the 10-15 years since I last visited.

As prahaboheme said - Sarasota and down the coast seemed a little nicer overall.

Nice pics. Glad to see my former town represented. It looks so much better during the day though, imo. I have a bunch of pretty decent St. Pete pics, but I have no scanner :(
