Well, I for one am sick and tired of this guy and wanted to get some feedback from you all. Pacman is a great player but his off the field behavior is reprehensible. I say boot him but my mind could be changed if and only of this is addressed sternly by the Titans and the NFL.

An article from the Tennessean today says the NFL needs to address the bad boys.

Is it too late for Pacman to save himself and I wonder if charges are pending for this guy. If he does get charged and convicted, then let him be the poster boy of the bad boys of the NFL and make an example out of him.

i also voted yes. he is an incredible athlete, a big playmaker, and a huge asset for the Titans....on the field. However, his off-field troubles are a black-eye for the team, the city, and the league. With all of the embarrasments the team has faced of late, I begin to question the integrity of the entire franchise. Is winning more important than ethics? Pac is not someone we should display as a role-model, and the youth should be shown that even great athletes will be held accountable for their acctions, and the actions of their friends. To quote Spiderman "with great power, brings great responibility". A truly great person would use their opportunities to better their life, and the life of those around them. Most athletes that come from hard times, use these life experiences as a lesson to others on success. They also use their opportunities to help other troubled people improve their lives. Pac does none of these.

Maybe i'm wrong. Maybe he leaves these situations knowing that they will go bad. If thats the case than he should have learned by now that he cannot associate with the people who continue to scar his image. Alcoholics cannot be around other alcoholics, gambling addicts cannot hang out in casinos, and criminals cannot improve their lives if they continue to hang out with other criminals.

The Titans organization owes its fans/city a team ,win or lose, that we can be proud of.

I voted don't know. Yes, I'm sick and tired of hearing about all his troubles and bad behavior. But, I'm not sure I have all the facts on this latest incident. If there is a charge against him in this tatest incident, I would kick him off the team. If cleared, I'd let him play again. If no charge is forthcoming, I'd let him play. But, any future criminal charge, no matter how trivial, and I'd kick him off the team. He's a great player, but he needs to be taught a lesson.

I happened to be in Las Vegas last weekend on other business and I can tell you that the NBA and Las Vegas is a bad mix. It was scary everywhere. I have a cab driver who had been int he city for over 30 years tell me he would not work after 10pm and was afraid to go anywhere near the parties (which were everwhere) When I arrived in town there were HUGE billboards announcing parties being given by NBA stars and celebrities all over town. I guess it is just a culture that I do not understand, we used to just get into a fist fight if we were mad at someone, now it is full gang warfare using deadly force at a drop of the hat. Not what we should be teaching our kids.

I am the one who voted no and here's why...

1. You are innocent until proven guilty and Pacman hasn't been convicted of anything yet.

2. I don't understand Pacman's choices of friends or recreational preferences and as long as he doesn't end up in jail I am not about to judge him for it.

3. There is at least one current player charged with domestic abuse, one very publicly assaulted a man with his cleats while on live television and while wearing a Titans uniform, one who has had two episodes of drug abuse and one popular ex-Titan and current local broadcaster was charged with an awful account of domestic abuse and a coach apparently nearly lost his family due to marital infidelity.

4. There is a popular cable television commentator once charged with sexual harrasment (a paid a settlement for it), a popular radio commentator and former NFL commentator who used illegal drugs and on and on and on. Should we fire everybody?

If he's convicted of a felony, then the system will take care of matters, but until then, I would rather see him playing for us rather than the Colts.

don't you find it a little odd that this keeps happening to him over and over though? sure, he might not get charged, but why does it keep happening? he's an embarassment. was i a fan of him last season? sure, he was very entertaining to watch on the field. but this is the last straw. he just so happens to be at the wrong place and the wrong time too much. i think it should be game over for pac man.

Are you comfortable with what kind of message that sends to others by just allowing him to do whatever he feels like without some kind of penalty. If he is convicted of a crime then the law will take care of it, but if he is not put to a higher standard then we will continue to say "other people do it so why punish him" Maybe if we punish him we can keep him alive. Vince Young had a similar upbringing but he learned how to be a better citizen. If Vince cannot get Pac to listen and Jeff cannot get Pac to listen, and apparently his own family cannot get him to listen, then some kind of action is warranted for his own good. We are allowing gang bang behavior to go unmonitored. Do we think it is ok to just bring guns in blazing to settle a score. We must at least try to get a handle on this for the bigger picture and I for one as a season ticket holder since day one am willing to potentially loose more games for a short period of time to make that statement to the rest of the NFL and society as a whole!

He spit at someone---that's fairly minor

He assaulted someone and was charged with felony vandalism--- That's not too good

His friend got in some trouble with drugs and Pacman was tied to it, but his agent hushed it---not too good

He caused somebody to be shot --- is that minor?

I'm just so tired of hearing about the latest Pacman incident monthly, and it might be different if he was an incredible player....I mean, he's good, but he's not that great. I think it would speak testaments about our organization if we got rid of this thug and it would take us back to the kind, nice, respectable, Christian organization we used to be when we had great guys like Derrick Mason.

PS. Remember those days when we won.....those were the good old days

I do think his career should be over if the Titans punish him (severly, like 6 games plus paycheck for same) and he still does not learn. Unless this kid becomes a model citizen, then I do think he should be fired from his industry just like you and i would be under the same circumstances.

It depends on what you mean by 'dump' him...

First of all, I don't like his behavior and I think he brings a lot of negative attention to his team and teammates. We don't need to be known as the []__[] of the NFL.

I love the guy's intensity on the field, but he needs to seriously address his problems off the field. I think that the team has already been too lax with punishing him or getting the point across that his behavior is completely unacceptable.

That being said, he should not be cut (like some people are saying). That would be a bad decision in my opinion. I think that if we want to get rid of him, we should get as much as we can for him right now. We are awfully thin at defensive back, and frankly if we cut him we're screwed. We can't replace him with another rookie. Rookies will take more than a year to develop (I mean, look at him for example). We need to trade him for another defensive back if we can.

Maybe we can trade him back to Atlanta...he's from there and he'll get along just fine with the thugish atmosphere of the Falcons.

The whole point is you can't let him be a thug just because he is a good defensive back and we will be "screwed" if we do. That is the very reason the kid id a punk, becasue he knowss no one will stand up to him and make him behave. If we are going to loose money anyway, get him where it will hurt, fines and no playing time. that will diminish his ability to continue his star athlete ways and maybe make him think about his behavior.

Come on now. Youre smarter than that. The guy has been arrested 10 times in just over two years. Wrong place at the wrong time a couple of times? Try 10 times. Me or you would be locked up already for the things hes done. Its called a good attorney and a lot of money, thats why he gets off on wrong place at wrong time.

Pertaining to the topic, he should be let go. He has shown consistency on and off the field. He is a consistent playmaker on the field and a consistent problem off the field. Regardless, if he is one of the best, he is still one of the major problems on the Titans. His behavior is a distraction to the organization and they don't need that.
