Absolutly amazing....the last union fiasco in this state (which still really isnt over) is the Convention Center and the Waterford Group labor dispute. This dispute though concerns more then a huge building that hosts tourists and meetings...this concerns one of the nations most well known hospitals that is associated with one of the most prestigous colleges in the country. There are also patients at risk..human lives...not tourists.

How about the state worry about improving education in places like Hartford, Bridgeport, New Haven, Waterbuy, Willimantic, etc, reducing crime in these cities, bringing high paying jobs to the state, improving mass transit, etc. etc.

Well with a Democratic legislature and a liberal Republican governer, I can see the union getting the backing that they need. I don't think the State has realized yet that being anti-business kills job growth. :rolleyes:
