Hartord Gets Some Exposure on Discovery

Was watching the Biker Buildoff on Discovery last night (I ride) and there were a couple nice bikes being built and they met up in FL for their "drive" but had no destination to show them so they put them in the trailer and went to Hartford CT - in the Expo center where a big bike show was going on!

It was all over the station, they mentioned the city like 14 times showed them traveling on the map etc and they also showed some various city shots, and then inside the Expo the "Rising Star" banner was in the background large as life while the host was saying things like "Hello Hartford, are you ready too...".

I wish it was in the Convention Center but it was really good exposure for about 10 minutes on a major TV outlet.

Westbury vs. Fuller

New episode airs March 1, 2007 at 10pm!

Bryan Fuller of Fuller Hot Rods, Atlanta, GA, takes on Greg Westbury of Westbury Handcrafted Motorcycles, Concord, CA, in this episode of BBO. Brian using mostly Buell parts in a frame of his own design fabricates a modern, high back tire racer. While Greg builds a hot rod motorcycle on a frame reminiscent of a vintage Schwinn. The two artists ride side by side ending at the Northeast Motorcycle Expo in Hartford, CT where the people decide on which bike will take home the trophy.

Good stuff.
