The announcement was just what it was said to be. Interestingly, the recognition on the list was given only to LR. I guess the hoopla with the announcement on the bridge was a gesture of friendship from Stodola to Hays.

MERGE THE CITIES!

Merge every city and unincorporatated area within the county would be more like it. In the near future, officials within the county are going to have to have serious discussions on a consolidated county government. If that does not work, ATLEAST Little Rock and North Little Rock should merge. This isn't the 1800s; cities do not have to be divided by geographic features (i.e. the Arkansas River) anymore.
