The Times seriously needs to disable the user comments feature. The things posted there are ridiculous, and often the least educated citizens of this region are the ones squabbling back and forth.

Getting back to the topic, I think the Hilton Shreveport is going to be hugely successful! Like the article says, it caters to a high-end market, unlike anything else available in the city (yes the casino hotels are nice, but they're really intended for casino-goers, not high-level businessmen). With the increased traffic/tourism generated, I hope development interest along Cross Bayou grows. That's the next step IMO. John Good, you're our guy!!
