Not sure how we forgot this one: oobe inc. is based in downtown Greenville and sells their quality custom branded gear at numerous stores across the nation.

Textraw (more here), the new biodegradable recycled synthetic mulch that looks just like natural pine straw was developed and is made in Greer by PhilChem. It can last up to 10 years and looks just as nice as when it was originally put down.

Thats a cool website. There are definitely a few things missing, but its still an interesting site. I just ran a search for companies in Spartanburg, and I was suprised to learn that there are a lot more textile operations in the area than I thought there were.
