Plan to close tax loopholes, aid state would boost prices

This drives me nuts. Im biased because Im apart of the industry she loves to target (insurance) but still, I dont think its good practice to keep on trying to prod the industry that is growing for more money. Its a competitive disadvantage that we (the industry) have to compete with out of state insurers that don't face this same tax structure. I would like to see more equitable tax deal. Nonetheless a tax against insurance is simply an added tax to all Michiganders who have insurance as the costs eventually get passed on.
