A new wind farm in The Dalles could eventually power 12,000 homes.

This would also fit in the Treehugger's Lounge as well, but thought that its a great move. Oregon does have a requirement to get to 25% of their energy from renewable sources by 2025. I certainly hope this project works well. To me I think Wind Farms are more cool looking then nimby's.

UPC Wind Management

It looks like the company behind the proposed Dalles project has several projects under their belt so this should go well I would assume.
