There were two articles about Vida Nova in the paper yesterday.

This first one: Developer Confident of Condo Desirability

Not the best news to hear:

There have been plenty of interested lookers at Muskegon's first downtown waterfront residential development but to date, no buyers. Developer Doug Harjer of Grand Haven said he is pleased with what he has created on Muskegon Lake and optimistic the market will respond favorably.

According to an article in the Chronicle Douglas Harjer says he expects the first purchase agreement shortly. I don't know if this means he is hoping there will be one soon, or if this means the agreement is just waiting to be signed.

Also, the condos have received a Silver LEED rating from the U.S. Green Building Council.

Finally, he said the permits are almost in place to build the first docks on Muskegon Lake.
