Atlanta is the 75th most populous Urbanized Area in the World!

 

 

Demographia has released a list of the world's largest urbanized areas of >500,000. Little old Atlanta came in a 75th in the world. That's not too bad when I consider the Atlanta I grew up in 20+ years ago. Hopefully moving forward, Atlanta can reel in the sprawl and only grew within the core counties. This would greatly help with the density figures.
