Greenville area population statistics

Interesting article about the top 10 counties with population growth during the covid years. Greenville County came in #2 with a growth of 20,473 people.

20,473 since 2020. 13.429 since 2021.

Annexations alone would have added more than that. That's a ridiculous formula they're using.

No wonder we can’t get any tower cranes downtown. We’re on the verge of losing population.

I think we all know there is no way that estimate is even close to accurate.  It's pretty obvious the city grew by more than 6 families of 4 over the course of the year. Condo and infill DT, appts all over the place, infill in any neighborhood, small annexations, etc... take your pick.
