Michigan's manufacturing is dying...what's it look like?

I was kind of surprised, but I guess its that much of GR's manufacturing is split between lots of smaller factories as opposed to a lot of other places where the manufacturing is more concentrated and thus more noticeable. Thanks for the brief history of manufacturing in GR, though. I've always wondered how manufacturing differed in the different regions of the state.
