I just read about the new Oak Hill Project that was agreed upon. It sounds like great news for connecting Oakland and the Hill with nice, new stable housing. I'm not too familiar with the history of this issue, and whether this is as nice of a deal as it sounds.

Just wanted to see what you guys think of this.

As far as I know, the history is that Pitt and some developer or neighborhood group have been fighting over this piece of land for years. Pitt wants it for new athletic facilities and everyone else wants it for housing. Looks like they have finally reached a compromise that satisfies both sides.

Sounds good to me.
