One of the large office buildings is currently being bricked (has been for several weeks!), but it looks like plans include another large office building nearly twice the size of the one under construction and then a third large office building later, all in addition to a few more one-story office buildings like the ones currently in place.

Now, here's the flyer on the Colliers Spectrum Cauble website of the revised site plan for the Publix shopping center (shown as Kroger on the original SPP site plan) . . .

The original SPP site plan also showed some restaurant out parcels and some other things - no word yet on their status. But it's reassuring that despite the downturn in retail construction and the real estate market, these projects in North Macon are (despite their necessary postponements) finally moving forward!!

that's for the land in front of the kia dealership,riverside ford is holding on to the kia property for now.

it's a small shopping center with only 3,300sf.

between popular and cherry streets.

looks like mellow mushroom gave up on the marketplace at bass site(project on hold untill 2010)

and are going to bulid on another site in macon.this could be the restaurant being bulit behind

starbucks on bass road. construction journal says construction will start third quarter 2008

lakeside commons is part of bass plantation a mixed use development of apartments,retail,office,and restaurants.that whole area from bowman road to mable white is part of bass plantation.Publix will be in the shops at bass plantation.

the Kroger shopping center on forsyth road is being renovated in order to update and modernize the center,the inside of the Kroger store will also be renovated.
