sure have......check out my photos. Someone said they could have done a better job with the base. I guess it looks a little plain. I think the base could have been a little bulkier and taller with a couple of tiers But I always envisioned this statue being built in the middle of a water fountain in the roundabout. That would have been really nice. But I think once they add shrubbery and plants around it, it wont look as plain. The statue itself is really nice and I like how they made a statue of General Greene standing instead of being on a horse like the one at Guilford battleground courthouse.

After comparing my photos to cityboi's, I have noticed that there is a racial divide between Obama and Clinton here in the Triad. I don't know if anyone will care or not if I post these or not (considering we're an Obama dominated board ), but here are some photos I got of Hillary's campaign events in the Triad this past week:

Hillary Clinton is returning to Winston-Salem for an event at Wake Forest University. The event is being billed as a conversation between Clinton and Maya Angelou. It will be held at Wait Chapel on Wake's campus, the event is free and open to the public. Doors open @ 4pm and the event starts at 6pm.

Andrew Young, a civil-rights leader and the first black to serve as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, has endorsed Hillary Clinton, yet likes Obama as well.

Hillary will be in Greensboro today and Obama will be at a townhall meeting in Winston-Salem tommorrow.

Andrew Young, a civil-rights leader and the first black to serve as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, has endorsed Hillary Clinton, yet likes Obama as well.

Andrew Young was Atlanta's first black mayor and he was also present with Martin Luther King Jr and Jesse Jackson when King was assasinated.

Interestring fact: the scene was shot in downtown Greensboro on Elm Street. You can see "The Elm Street Cafe", the old National Theater (currently the N Club) and at the end of the scene a police car gets blown up at the intersection of Elm and Market Street at the corner of the Jefferson Standard Building.

I noticed that the Holiday Inn Greensboro Airport is now a Wyndham Garden Hotel. The hotel has been remodeled and they have painted the brick brown.

Also I while I was driving on Piedmont Center Drive near the airport there is a big sign that says "future home of Triad Tower" and it has a rendering on the sign. So it looks like Triad Tower along with many projects in the area are put on hold due to the economic crisis.

Triad Tower needs to go either in downtown Greensboro or Winston-Salem (or High Point). Otherwise, it should just die.

Well I could see my car in the parking lot of my job in Lexington. I didnt think they would photograph so many secondary and residential streets in the Triad. I mean they even went in the ghettos to take photos.

I wonder how they do the photography.. I noticed on Business 40 near Baptist Hospital that it went from extremely overcast to sunny and partly cloudy in one frame. Also, near R.J. Reynolds High School, the road goes from being empty to packed to empty again(school letting out for the day?) in a frame as well.

I was biking up Miller in Winston (not sure if you can see me or not) last fall and saw a sedan pass by me with a huge camera mounted on top. Judging by One Park Vista's progress, it looks like these photos were taken in early September, though it varies throughout the Triad.

I've seen people stand on their cars with tripod and all to take pictures in Greensboro.
