NES offers green power

Just thought i would try and spread the word. I don't think this is anything new, but it's something i just discovered.

Nashville Electric Service offers their customers solar/wind/methane gas power. You pay a slight premium for this option but it is great for the enironment and your attitude! They sell the power in 150kwhs blocks for $4 a month. I bought two blocks (300kwhs/$8) which is about 1/3 to 1/2 of my monthly consumption, and it only took about 3 minutes! Many other Tennessee power companies offer this as well. Also, the power companies are audited annually to make sure they produce as much green power as they sell, so you can rest assured your money is going where it should.

I think this is a very good and extremely easy way to help improve our world and reduce our own footprint. I encourage all of you to sign up for as much as you can and also to spread the word. Your fellow environmentalist, Will
