Ok, here is a really bad, far away shot. You can't tell from this picture, but this one building extends the "downtown" feel significantly. It has a great presence on Church Street, and it will contribute a lot for downtown's future development. I will try to get some better pictures while I'm home for Thanksgiving if the weather cooperates.

Carolina Alliance Bank is set to open its doors in its new building on S Church St this Tuesday, May 27th which is several days before its June 1 deadline.

City planners hope that this building will spark more redevelopment and infill along the CBD's southern gateway and help to connect downtown with Hampton Heights.

While the building is not architecturally stunning, it does include the key design features that you mention^. The building is to the street, and the main entrance, at least visually, is on the corner. Its interesting how this building extends the "CBD" feel down Church St,
