Houston County's Oaky Woods to be Developed

Thats a HUGE project wow. Ill probably be married with children before it ever gets off the ground though. Why is it a sad day though?

As an aside, reading the newspaper article, I was wondering why the developers think creating man made lakes will somehow preserve portions of the land?

The development plans called for building several new schools and a few retail centers, so their at least thinking about some of the other issues that come along with the task of constructing 30,000 houses...and on a good note, their using Hilton Head Island (with its tree lined streets and development protected areas) as a model for the community so I guess it's not ALL bad. But yeah, I'm a little skeptical about WR's ability to sustain something like this too.
