In your area, what are the major local news networks, newspapers, news websites, news radio stations, etc? I've been wanting to start a thread like this for awhile now, but I just forgot about it. Please keep to the "major" networks and newspapers in your area, as I know for New Orleans, there are smaller local stations all over the place that could take forever to look up, and I'm sure it's the same for other Louisiana metro's.

Is it me,or does it seems that wwl-tv is going downhill? ok, first of all I can't believe that sally-ann roberts and Angela Hill are still anchors, they are not what they used to be . They are getting to old in age and they are showing it. Doug Mouton just scares me. The things that wwl-tv needs to to become like it once was is to bring Karen Swenson and Michelle Miller(if Mr Morial lets her) back let Lucy Bustamante become morning Anchor she dosent fit in with the veening news , wwl needs to hire new Anchors and Reporters, The best reporter in New Orleans is Ben Lemoine wwl need to keep him. I know this may sound like a rant ,but after Katrina New Orleans local news has become unwatchable. I'd like to know what you guys think.

I think WWL needs to make some minor changes, but I still think it's excellent right now. I rarely watch the morning news broadcasts with Sally Ann Roberts, but didn't the morning newscast just recently win "morning newscast of the year" or something like that? Also, a couple of years ago it was extended until 9:00 a.m. because demand was so high. When it comes to everything else, WWL is most definately on top. Best breaking news coverage, best reporting, best sports segments, best weather and meteorologists, etc. I like Lucy Bustamante; I think she's done an excellent job replacing Karen Swenson.
