As an avid ATL visitor since the early 70's, I finally got a chance to take many photos with my new camera.

We'll start out with probably Atlanta's most famous tower, the Peachtree Plaza Hotel (Westin)

What on EARTH have they done with the interior. This is the 3rd incarnation of the space and is undoubtedly the worst.

Metropolis - man is this a brutal, cold place. There is street-level retail, but the whole thing is unfortunately off-putting.

Very cool!! Thanks for sharing.

Interesting thoughts on the Metropolis - I never really felt that it was brutal in the same way that Merchandise Mart is.

I don't know if many people know this, but THIS neighborhood in Cobb County along Sandy Plains Road has the best views of all of Atlanta's skylines that I've ever seen, as well as the North Georgia Mountains, Kennesaw Mountain, etc. It's a bit of trek to get there from town, but well worth it on a clear day. I'll try to get some pictures posted if I take some.

Excellent work! You covered Atlanta very well! I love the unique perspectives. Nice job capturing the skyline as well.

The sky is so blue in those shots...............absolutely beautiful.

That policy is crap. You should be able to take pictures of whatever you want, whenever you want.
