Connecticut has a large number of businesses involved in the fuel cell industry. If Federal and state policies were more favorable towards the research and development of alternative energy and fuels, Connecticut could become a huge player and its economy would benefit greatly.

The bus runs on a fuel cell which is like a huge battery fueled with hydrogen. It only emits water.

And as an aside, I know the New Britain Busway takes a lot of heat around here. But using these types of vehicles on the busway would be a way to add some sex appeal to the project and attract riders. Still not rail, but way better than diesel-spewing vehicles and more attractive to the middle class. Comments?
