What is going on in the Biltmore these days? Has it converted to office space? Took a short walk around Midtown this area has the most construction I have seen in Atlanta in terms of new buildings going up. The third photo is next to Ga Tech's Tech Square is this the new CODA building?

Yes the Biltmore has been office space for a while but was purchased by Georgia Tech last year.  I'm not sure of their specific plans.  The big hole in the ground in the CODA building.  The building in the last photo across from CODA  is of a dorm project known as "The Standard".

New 30-story office tower proposal by Cousins Properties. 

Also rumors of a 900-foot tower proposal on Peachtree Street are heating up.  There has been several days of surveying and soil testing on the site (1125 Peachtree Street).

NCR Building in Midtown looks great and is great branding for a company that moved in from the suburbs.  Also some of Atlantic Station towers.  Today.

Midtown ATL is booming and this is the fastest growing urban market in the metro. Growing faster than Buckhead or Downtown.  1180 Peachtree is one of my favorite buildings in the city (home of King and Spalding)  and it looks like hands applauding which I know was the intent.

This is a big improvement to the street level of the old Southern Bell AT&T now Tower Square building in Midtown.   That is a lot of office space to fill.  A lot.

Midtown Atlanta today lots of construction new Google anchored tower 1105 West Peachtree , new Norfolk Southern HQ, new apartment towers.

Midtown skyline and according to stats from JLL when the under construction buildings are done this will be the largest office market in Atlanta larger than Perimeter Center (current #1) and downtown or Buckhead.   all from the downtown collect 75/85.  this is the true heart of the metro Atlanta region.   Much more office and residential construction here than any other part of the city.

Yep Atlanta has the tallest Carvana auto tower in the country at 12 stories.  Saw it last month.

We are very saddened that one of  the biggest companies of our downtown  district has left though I wish good luck to their moving to Atlanta...I wonder if their name will change.
