Be sure to look at the PDF file under Web Extras. The graphic illustrating the amount of vacant land around downtown is staggering. If every piece of it were developed in a dense, urban fashion, Asheville could triple, at least, the size of its downtown.

I wonder if this type of development will change the skyline in the Future. I hope they don't knock any old historic buildings down.
