pretty awesome wallpaintings, hopefully they never get vandalized, it probably adds a lot to the area instead of plain walls.

Portsmouth, Ohio has a very long floodwall mural that is over one-mile in length.

Nice photo set! I've never seen Paducah's!

Awesome, the only thing I know about Paducah is that there was a school shooting there in 97.

Very nice thread on the murals! They add a lot postive aurora to downtown, which is in a major revival. Paducah is a very nice and happening little urban city with a very bright future IMO. Its the city a visit most often so I keep tabs on it pretty close. The odd thing is many folks overlook downtown and just take Paducah as a big commercial area off I-24, totally missing out on its very clean and visitor friendly downtown full of nice shops, high end restaurants, entertainment venues, etc. Its a lot more urban and active (esp on Fri and Sat night) then most people realize.
