Best Pizza?

Pizza here in Austin sucks. Mangia is probably the best with their deep dish Chicago pizza. Sometimes I wonder if we have any Italians here. The Italian restaurants here are severely lacking.

In Indianapolis:

Bazbeaux Pizza: gourmet thin crust pizza with about 15 choices of toppings

Union Jack Pub: deep dish Chicago style with about 20 topping choices

In Durham: I like Cinelli's, but Mellow Mushroom is good no matter where you are.

In Boston: Il Panino Express (North End) and Hi-Fi (Cambridge). If any of you living in Boston are ever in Bridgewater, check out the pizza at Giordano's.

Houston - Brothers Pizzeria

Though generally I think any dowtown entertainment district pizza shop is superior to anything found elsewhere, I've had these in various cities and it is frightening how they are all so similar as if some kind of underground "chain". The original Uno's in Chicago is worth a mention too (though not their best, can't remember the name of the place nearby I think is better).

In Greensboro, I would say Napoli or Elizabeth's. Also New York Pizza.

In Charlotte, I like Wolfman and Portofino's.

With all this talk about the Boston area, definitely check out Highland Cafe in Malden.

i've never been a fan of pizza in the boston area. i had pizzeria regina pizza at the providence place mall. it was good, but nothing special.
