I can't believe NASCAR is allowing this. While they have let hotel/casinos be associated w/ tracks before, have they ever been actually inside of the track like this one? Most sports try to stay as far away as possible from any type of gambling. I think this is taking the commercialism of NASCAR way too far.

Will Bruton Smith follow through on his threats to close down Lowe's Motor Speedway, home of the Coca-Cola 600, Bank of America 500, and the Sprint All-Star race? He's upset at the city of Concord for not allowing him to build a drag strip and is reportedly looking for a new place to relocate his track.

Kurt Busch and Tony Stewart have been put on 6 weeks probation for a fight that occcured between the two after practicing the other day at Daytona. Apparently Stewart hit Busch on the track, then Busch retalliated by hitting him on pit row twicee and then when they were called to the NASCAR trailer, they began arguing and Stewart punched Busch. Gotta love NASCAR!
