Recommended Posts

Vijay Sing, Padraig Harrington and Trevor Immelman have agreed to play in the tournament June 21-24 at the Tournament Players Club at River Highlands in Cromwell.

Singh, ranked seventh in the world and second on the money list and in the FedExCup points chase, has won 31 times on the PGA Tour, including three majors. He last played in Connecticut in 2002

With Travelers at the helm it looks like 2007 will be one of the best Hartford Tournaments in years. I'm still hoping for a Tiger sighting, but the names we already have are not bad at all.

That is a terrible time slot in the schedule for this tournament as it is the weekend after the U.S. Open. It's tough to get a top notch field the week after a major. Also, Tiger's wife is due to give birth to their first child sometime during the mid-June time period so its highly unlikely that you'll see him this year. Anyhow, its always a good time to go to a PGA event no matter whos playing so enjoy.
