Founders Brewery Relocation

I heard that much like their last attempted move, financing is still sketchy. Hope we don't end up with a skeleton and no skin. I want Founders to move, it would be a great addition to one of my favorite buildings (as crazy as that may seem).

I wonder how large they plan on expanding to barrels/day wise, if they're upgrading to digs this big.

I can't say enough how happy I am that this building didn't get bulldozed. I think in 10 years people will think it is crazy that somebody (or many people) even thought about it. I can only imagine how great the space will be!

That's quite a sizable addition being tacked onto Founder's new digs. Does anybody know how many square feet the place will be when finished? Also will Grandville Ave. remain at least four lanes wide?

Wow, I guess I thought Founder's was going to use just the existing space. Impressive! Anyone know what the finish materials will be on the outside of the new addition?

Wow. I have to say the orange/red siding is uggo. I hope they do something with it. I really like the brick building they're in now. It will really be a downer if it's just a warehouse looking building when it's fiinished. As far as smoke free - yes! Smoking is allowed on the patio/porch only. It will be so nice to actually enjoy haning out there without the awful stale cigarette smell and burning eyes!

Smoke free is a big suprise. I stopped going to the existing founders because it was so horribly smokey in there. You could be in for 1 minute and smell like garbage when you left.

I might actually go there again now~!

I actually love the composition with the highway running through. It provides another layer of depth to scene. Otherwise it would just be kind of a boring shot of the base of Plaza Towers
